Beginning of the end for the tuner?
Just been having a read Of the EU draft regulation proposal which is apparently aiming to ban all modified cars. As the title suggests its only a proposal at the moment but if the big wigs on the hill get there way then it doesn't look good for the modified car world. Rather than explaining it all myself take a look over on the pistonheads site where you can view the PDF of the proposal.

I can see the modified car becoming a regulated weekend track toy only if this legislation goes through which will surely be bad news for a lot of us who enjoy being able to use our cars on a daily basis.

I think the after market would have a fit wouldnt they... even manufacturers like our beloved Subaru would probably throw their toys out the pram they must surely know a large part of their consumers purchase purely for the joys of modifying!
Still a scary prospect though!
