Default Jdm Sti on pistonheads? Overpriced?

Anyone know this jdm? Know anything about the trader? Most importantly does this seen over priced? Good spec and ticks all the right boxes just unsure about the price considering its a 2002. What you guys think before I go and have a look

A car is worth what someone is willing to pay

I have just paid £6.5 k for a bug but it was what I wanted with the mods I wanted

Do to me it made sence rather than buy a standard car and then spend the 5k doing the work

Plus I wanted a factory prodrive bug and nothing else

The DVLA are known to make "mistakes" when registering cars, you need to find out the date of manufacture from the seller

UK Blobs started on a 52 reg but as said above the DVLA are known to make mistakes.

The UK lights are a bit worrying though

Might be an SVA thing, I'm not sure the JDM lights are 'e' marked, so they may have been swapped in order to get it registered.

The car does have a separate rear fog, tinted rear windows and (I think) a rear wiper, so I doubt it's a UK.

Good call Would get the reg plate and speak to clinic as it does state they did all the work so would be a good place to start

Guys reading the add again I've realised I made a mistake it's a 2003/52 which would seem right? Going to ring the seller to get a few more details after work.

Would stay away to be honest they have a different name every few months.
If it's not got the clear headlights it's most likely had a front smash. They tend to get there cars very cheap!! And they are not in Manchester there based in Oldham

Just rung both numbers Couldt get an answer so will try back later. Seems very low mileage for a car of that age. Bit to good to be true. Probably give it a miss. Juggers are you based in Manchester mate?

Nope my 54 plate Spec C got through with the (better) JDM tinted lights. Rear wiper not JDM spec afaik

The spec c did not get rear wiper (weight saving I guess) only the regular JDM has it

Brilliant find mate seems it is a genuine car although the traders have now bumped the price up a fair bit. Looks the same car a call to Scoobyclinic could back up the advert. Looking at the old add the cars history looks good

My friend just bought an 03 JDM sti with a good few mods, running approx 350bhp for just over £7k IIRC. I think £7k is probably about right for a non wide track 02 model.

Quick Reply: Jdm Sti on pistonheads? Overpriced?
