Default A bit of touge action in a hawkeye Spec C...

...by Keiichi Tsuchiya

And a Ferrari F430 and Porsche 911 Turbo (997.1) for comparison.

F430 - 3:31.21

911 Turbo - 3:24.82

MY06 Spec C - 3:23.56

As the run was made with the DCCD in auto, it was understeering a bit in the tight corners. Not sure if his time could've been slightly better if he had set the DCCD all the way backwards

And from what i see in the Porsche's video (0:13) i think the NSX-R (NA2) achieved 3:18.42

I guess that's how the saying goes. In the real world where there is bumps and blind corners, an Impreza is right up there with the best exotics....

.....and it ends with this statement, "but when the conditions are right, the exotics are still faster"

Couldn't say better...

The whole concept of scoobs evos is for fast short blasts, were all the germas or other hi end car have much longer gearing and are more suitable for long fast tracks.... Like someone on here said , had a hi spec classic and afetr many years went to RS4 , on the same trip to nordschleife he could easily keep RS4 120+ more than an hour where scoob had to be cooled down ....
Every car is good in it's own way i guess....
