Advice re: warranty on paint work
#1
Had my P1 front spoiler resprayed approx. 12 months ago under warranty. This was due to the usual poor paint job, that I think alot of P1 owners have experienced.
Now I find the spoiler is looking as bad as it did back then - it looks like is has been pebble dashed.
My local dealer has today informed me that Subaru will not be in a position to respray under warranty. They went onto explain that it is a low spoiler and is suceptaible to damage through general wear and tear.
I would agree with this but not on a spolier that has been resprayed within the last 12 months.
I have read many threads about this issue, but can't remember any outcomes over these issues.
Any thoughts / advice would be greatly apprecated.

My dealer sent photos of mine to Subaru - they rejected claim as they said they don't cover stone chips. I have decided to leave it speckled blue/white/black where the paint has gone completely and maybe get it resprayed and then armourfended when and if I can afford it.

When the first respray was done under warranty the dealer should have offered to armourfend it. Not sure if this was free or a pay option, but nonetheless it should have been offered.
