Default Rear Screen

I have been looking at a car where someone has put a rear tint over the back window right over the top of the heater element. The tint is now starting to come away and I'm sure I read somewhere this was a nightmare job to remove and the chances are the heater element would get damaged. Is this true and if so would I need to replace the whole window or just the heater element? Or is there a technique of removing the film it seems to have bubbled in areas but not near the edges? Thanks

Just heat it up on the outside with a hair drier or hot air gun and it will peel right off.
