Default recommend a vta bov for a version 6

My V6 Type R has the standard sti top mount and recirc valve but i'd like something louder that is VTA, the louder the better.

Not looking to break the bank with an HKS jobby so can someone recommend a cheaper alternative? I've read the Bailey ones are crap, and the forge ones seem good but too quiet.

I'm running an airbox and panel filter so I know that doesnt help with noise so whats the best budget alternatives?

Dave.

hks ssqv and turbo smart are expensive but with good reason they are the best and forge motorsport would be my next choice. i,ve had both all are top quality items with great sound! bailey is ****.

They all sound ****e.
Why would you want your car to sound like a bus anyway FFS?

It'd be better if they shouted "ARRRRSE" Father Jack style.

That's because a lot that have been floating around have been cheap copies sold by unscrupulous members

I'd say Forge (if you have to have a chav horn) but if it's not loud enough I'd maybe wire a little microphone up (like what TV presenters wear) to the dump port and wire it into your headunit/speakers. Then you have an adjustable sound that you can turn up or down, windows up or down and can thus control the amount of attention you receive.

The hks ssqv would be best one imo, a few traders on here might have one.
