Brake disk rust ??

Default Brake disk rust ??

Hi all
I have a set of k-sport brake stored until i can be bothered to fit them but there all gone horrible and rusty like they got wet Somewere down the line. What can I use to get rid of all this and bring them back to life??

If its only surface rust don't worry about it. That will come off the first time use use your brakes. My front discs rust in seconds every time i wash my car. Nothing to worry about.

Wire wool spray with WD40 if you aren't going to use them for a while, and they are off the car.

Don't forget to clean it off with meths, brake cleaner etc before fitting them.

DON'T spray with WD40 if the pads are anywhere near, ie: on the car
