All the above are quite a lot cheaper than the OEM parts, Last I heard it was roughly £4k for a rear quarters at the time they were available

Have you seen a 22b and a type r side by side?

22b looks like the wings were an after though, which they were.

Only way i'd have that look is if it was a real 22b.

It's a lot of time and money and there is a lot more to it than just the wings, you really want a wide track rear diff, shafts, hubs ect to make it right.

I'd sooner go with a big engine build than crappy fiberglass copy of something that it will never be, it's a kin to the MR2 farrari conversion.

But hey it's your money.

That's a little unfair lol, the 22B is basically a V4 Type R with a wide body tacked on and an extra 0.2 liters! The performance is near identical. Although I do understand where you're coming from.

the good thing about the abw arch exstensions is the job costs a fraction of the price and takes half the time, if u rip one off ie on a track day its not the end of the world.. and they look super aggressive with a nice set of wheels, im very tempted to start a new project going down this route

i had just planned on using spacers or bigger wheels to fill the arches to be honest...

how much do you reckon the conversion cost you to get her looking like that>?

Done the same to mone. Not overly expensive tbh and worth the end result. Filling the arches, just buy wheels with a bigger offset. Think mine are et11.

Thanks for the replies lads. . . it’s a big decision cause its a lot of money to be forkin out but lookin at the results its worth it!!

Now next questions best place to get these panels?
I don’t want to get any old stuff … Would there be any point in looking for a scrap 22B or would the prices for original panels be crazy?

original panels would be rare as rocking horse ****

The kit i looked at is made by HTautos and seems a well made kit
not a cheap job as kit will cost £700-£1200 pending on if u have bumpers
then around £1500+ fitting then another £800 for wheels

great when they are done though
