Standard old shape?
Standard new shape? (Although new shape is called WRX, not turbo)

Old shape quoted at about 6.5secs (but some mags get it at about 5.5secs)

New shape, not too sure, have seen it at 5.6secs, but don't know if that was official figures.

Car performance mag std impreza turbo 5.02 at Santa Pod. I think this is one of the fastest done by a mag.

Subaru sales brochures read (0-60)
pre 99 4 door 6.4 sec (211ps) 208 bhp
5 door 6.5 sec
post 99 4 door 6.3 sec (218ps) 215 bhp
5 door 6.4 sec
VERY CONSERVATIVE ME THINKS!

EVO, the best mag IMHO, quote the "old" Uk turbo at 5.4 secs, and the new WRX at 6.0.

New shape is slower at the moment ( more weight )
However I am sure that in a year or two the new WRX will be beating the old model that we all love.
