That won't work, it will again depend on YOUR spoiler and how the brake light fits.
I HAD a copy: the brake light screwed in from the rear, two long self tappers passed through holes in it and into the spoiler behind it, inside it's little housing space.
The genuine one I NOW have, however, the brakelight fits into the same housing, but is held in place by either two, or three MACHINE screws into brass inserts in the spoiler base, and they go through holes in the BASE of the LED cluster. The whole lot is then covered by a plastic piece, same colour as the spoiler, which is ALSO held in by three machine screws.
Have a look at yours and tell me which sounds closest?

This company USED to sell the non-OEM red replacement brake light for the STI v.5/6 rear wing:-

Try ringing them?
But I found this company in the states!:-

Also, Scooby World sell replica v.5 wings with a red brake light (I bought one for my old 1993 WRX), so you could try contacting them to see if they sell the light on its own...?
EDIT: Looks like the brake light is now 'smoked' effect, anyway:-
