May be worth editing your original post as some would assume it's www.scoobypart.com who you have an issue with - not good.

I guess I'm lucky that I sent him 2 private messages enquiring about parts and despite reading them he never replied! That's just ignorant and he's now added to my list of people not to bother with! Had he replied it would have been different but just to blank me twice I can't be bothered any more

There is a thread I started on here that you could post in which has the attention of most mods: https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...-argument.html
"Triple Filtered" aka "Scooby Parts" has also not been online since mid June.

Sadly, as Rob says, the mods show little interest in dealing wth this sort of thing which is a shame as the scamming and bad practice in the for sale section is one of the things that is wrecking this board.

This is fairly shocking. I'm totally with the mods when it comes to buying with common sense, IE checking out the persons join date/post regularity/itrader score etc but when it comes to an authorized seller we should all be able to trust that an authorized seller is 100% genuine.
The mods can't wash their hands with authorized sellers as they do with 3rd party to 3rd party, otherwise there is no difference between paid up members and those that are meant to do this for a living.
That said i'll be very surprised if this doesn't end in a peaceful resolution.

Just to be clear. I'm not saying anything untoward is going on here and im not saying the mods are doing nothing about it, it's that of late the mods are looking to listen to the members to attempt to "change" the way that a member buys/sells with a view to ensure that both parties have a pleasant transaction. This doesn't mean anything will change greatly, but at least it's being monitored to a degree, although slow. I think the thread regarding "scammers" needs to be taken seriously, and everyone with some constructive view needs to put their opinions forward. At the moment this is the only thread I know of that has captured the eye of most moderators, please make your comment count.

I'm the case of triple filtered/Scooby parts it may just be a simple misunderstanding, and as he hasn't been online now for a few days it may be that he is on holiday with restricted Internet access or eve worse in hospital. Who knows? The point is there is no need to jump to conclusions that he is a scammer, when clearly he is a AA and therefore has a lot to loose by peoples opinions/perception.
I would say that the op needs to take this up with a moderator privately, and if no amicable outcome is reached then fine, keep us all informed.
