Oil cooler cross-over pipe
My problem is that my 1994 WRX import is leaking a lil bit of oil from the oil cooler pipe. Or more like I think thats the case since I cant get under it to see what the score is. So i'm gona be jetting it ramped up to have a good check.
At the min I can see an oil mark on the heat wrap on my manifold and I get a small paff of burning oil smell every so often when I've been out and about in it.
I've priced a new cross-over pipe and rubbers up and its about £50.......but an oil cooler radiator & pipes is £70.
Would replacing the oil cooler pipe with an oil radiator make much difference to my car? Or should I just stick with the standard and just replace what ever needs replacing whether it be the full pipe or just the rubbers...

So did you replace your OEM pump?
I'm pretty sure its just my cross over pipe thats abit leaky. And i'm guessing that the upgrade to an oil cooler would just mean running a pipe from the OEM pump - through the oil cooler radiator - and back to the sump.
Is that right?
