Default De-Cat centre section

Hi, Does anyone know if I take out my cat and replace it with a De-Cat centre section will I need a Re-Map?

Its a standard 2.5" exhaust system, with a bigger back box. I dont know if it is a cat back backbox

and its a MY99 Turbo 2000.

Cheers.

On the standard system there was a cat in the downpipe and another in the centre section. Certainly if you remove both cats you need a map adjustment to make sure all's safe and to take advantage of the freer flowing system.

Hi, Im going to leave the Cat in the downpipe. I just want to take the centre cat out. Will I still need a Re-Map?

As above but if you are budgetting for a map tweek then you'll find it a much nicer car afterwards!
