Default r 6 speed

Hi i`ve just brought a 6 speed to fit into my classic, I`ve been told i need the special oem flat headed bolt that goes verticallythrough the uj where it joins the linkage. Can any one help. cheers Gary

Not sure what you mean, ive just done one on mine and used the 6 speed linkage that come from the doner car.

Trouble is i dont know what it looks like so i`ve no idea what to look for any pics would help cheers gary

Never took any pics mate, did you get the 6 speed linkage and gear lever? As it wont work with your 5 speed linkage as the 6 speed uses a cable to work the reverse.

Yeah i got the gear stick linkage so would it be there?

Yeh it should be there, its just a bolt(12mm nut and 12mm bolt), the one out your 5 speed might be the same, if not i dont think it would cost much from subaru, i had to buy loads little bits to get mine finished.
Nuts and bolts were cheap even from a dealer lol


Thats just a pic i found on google of a 5 speed one, but the 6 speed looks the same.
Hope that helps a bit.
