Bare in mind that Paisley Freight don't actually do the transporting of things.
If I turned up to collect this gearbox, I wouldn't accept it for transport as it's classed as "dirty freight" and I couldn't be sure that the oil had been removed. Same goes for engines.
Friend of mine asked if I could arrange collection of a "Short Motor" for him. Aye, no bother.
Wasn't a ******* short motor though, as it turned out. Complete long engine, with sump full of oil. Spilt it's guts all over the drivers van, and got chucked next to a skip at the collecting branch.

Get it put on a pallet and wrapped properly after all the oil is drained out. RCM should be able to do this. Then just get the pallet lifted, no need to tell anyone its a gearbox if its drained and wrapped properly
