twice in one week (ebay) Rant
what is wrong with people these days.
ok im abit of a bargain hunter on ebay.
1st time was a v6 standard recirc valve 99p start no bids free postage. so i bid and win it for 99p lol. i payed for the seller to then refund me and relist it this time 99p start and £10 postage.
2nd time and k&n 57i kit again 99p start £10 postage. again i win it for 99p i pay for the seller to refund me say item no longer available
what i don't understand is why can people get away with listing items for free by putting 99p start and can get away with this.
items are still in my eBay waiting to be payed for as they have refunded but not removed transaction so is there anyway i can open resolve service as unsent items??

Not sure where you stand, especially as they've refunded you. But it winds me up also.. Whenever I list something I always put the bare minimum that I am willing to accept, or stick a reserve on. Yeah it may cost a few pence in listing fee's but I'd rather that than end up making a big loss.
I'd just leave them negative feedback and forget about it.

You can raise as a dispute, as I did when I win and paid .99p for a crash helmet.....didn't get me anywhere ! You can also leave neg feedback, however, I believe the seller would do the same for you, and I try and protect my 100% rating, guess its a gamble you take !

Ebay need to have a cost for the product, a cost for P&P and THEN a TOTAL cost in BIG numbers and use that within the sort filters. That way, people putting up 99p products but charging a tenner for the P&P just to get the items at the top of the list, wont work anymore.
Simple change for Ebay.

they are starting to crack down on the maximum you can put on postage.
they wont let u post mobiles for more than 8.75 now or they wont let u list the item,
but it is a joke when folk post well over the odds on poastage as they dont get charged from ebay on it.
my mate bought a private reg plate for 30 quid and the guy tried to get out sending it as it was valued at 500+.he contacted ebay and they contacted the seller and told him he had to send the item or would be banned from ebay, 3 days later his reg plate turned up with all fees paid
