Default prodrive ecu

hi just wondered does anyone know if a prodrive ecu from a my98 is self learning as in can adjust itself to mods like decats, induction kit, fmic if not whats the best way to get these mapped want to get near the 300bhp mark

May adjust slightly but better off getting proper remap via a pro

No its not self learning, its mapped for certain items, going outside the parameters of those items will mean it cannot cope with extra ignition timing/fuelling etc and det. You need a remap if you want to add things like induction/decat/fmic.

cheers mate i put a blitz supersonic induction kit on already but the car doesn't idle as well as it did can i map my own ecu!

No, you can't map it yourself.

If your having issues just take the induction kit off, its not like it's giving you any increased performance.

Sorry i put that a bit wrong i mean can my prodrive ecu be mapped or should i get something like the apexi fc
