Interesting comparison of the new STI and Evo VII - results seem to be similar to the old WRX vs Evo V/VI reviews. What do you think folks?

Is there an on-line version of the review?

AWD,
'Fraid not (yet). The Evo website is still showing the April issue - I guess they want you to spend £3.50 on the mag!

Interesting article about automatic speed limiting.
Very worrying.

I'm not sure it'll come into practise - you can just say you're off to Germany for the autobahns or going on a track day and you'll be able to remove it, then oops forgot to put it back on officer.

They've recently reduced the price of a new Evo VI Makinen to about £26-27k - pretty good value compared to the new WRX.

Personally, I can't see them enforcing having to have speed limiters fitted on cars.

They have speed limiters in Japan. All you have to do is sign a paper to say you'll only use it on the race track and they are 20 quid over the counter for bikes.
Not a problem or enforced.
Must get one for the STi...
