MOT Time and tiny issue
Hi,
I've done the checks before putting her in for an MOT and one of the rear number plate bulbs is gone.
Easy job I thought, picked up replacement pair for a quid but the screws and metal plate are rusted to f**k.
Any easy way (or the hard way as it has to be done) to get them out ?
All the best,
Jeff

Oh yes what should of been a 2 minute job took an hour
My classic was rusted up the screws and the heads were stripped with the rust as its just a small screw
Tried long nosed pliers and gave up as no grip so eventually put a flat bladed screwdriver between the plastic / glass front and the rear backing plate and just put a but of pressure on and forced it apart that way
Put new bulb in and it then just popped back in to position with bulb intact
Be careful forcing it though you don't need that much pressure
