Seller states owner knows everything there is to know about cars but describes it as a special lightweight model....lol...
The 555 is just a regular STI V2 with roof flap.

Nice motor but a dreamer, I always consider when selling a car, not what it's worth to me but what it's worth to any potential buyer, but a great looking motor a more realistic price is around 3500/4k

I personally love the colour, really think it suits a pre-facelift car.

if you're looking at this car, then you'll know exactly what you're getting.

but for anyone that doesn't know, you'll be buying a piece of history !
so in that case you know it's not

this is a limited edition 555 Mcrae special
or more importantly

this is the lightweight model built when Mcrae won the 1995 WRC Title
Personally I love the 555 edition because it ticks a few boxes and I love the colour but £5,250!!! That's type R, late RA money or even bordering on P1 money and you could also get a bugeye STI for that money!

why do people get someone else to advertise a car, he has email so one would presume it's not because he doesn't know how to use a computer/not have one.

As for the knows everything there is to know about cars, really.

£5250 for a v2 sti, think i'll put my type r back together sharpish, stick it on ebay for 15k and wait for a big fish.
