Was it mapped for the K&n ? Maybe it was happy to be back to standard box as it was mapped that way ?

Was mapped for k&n and decat. Befor I got it. The car pulls much better and doesn't feel like is holding back and tick over its much better with stranded box it's got better filter on it as well . Mite just be me did give everything a good clean up .

Probably due to not sucking in huge amounts of hot air from your engine bay.

Numerous threads and posts to why you don't require a CAIK unless required ie FMIC and if so then properly fed and shielded.

Well I'm much happier with it . It's going to a engin re build soon as well and will get it mapped agin after that
