twin turbo engined' classic?
as titled really chaps,
what do we think?
would there really be any benefts over a single turbod ej20?
although have been thinking about,(if the legacys are cdb) or the twin turbo setup could be retrofitted to a cdb2.2.
the propose spec (rough)
2.35 cdb twin turbo
forged internals etc running the small to large turbo setup, cant remember the correct term
GT25 Ball Bearing turbo - (smallest roller bearing turbo on the market)280bhp turbo full spool by 2.5k or less.
and a GT28 turbo upto the 450bhp one.
with the correct headwork and cams and ecu settings, does anyone think it would be any better at all over the single turbo setup,if any would the advantages be at the 600bhp plus range where you maybe would see the benefit of the 2 turbos.
i do like the thought of a possible 2 bar of boost at roughly 3krpm
what do you guys think?

OP, there is a reason you dont see many twin turbo'd 4 pots (or engines in that sense that use a smaller turbo then a bigger turbo), mainly the issues they had on the twin turbo legacy's was the take over period where you would get a bit of lag, plus what you gained in spool you wouldnt have lost that much with a single turbo anyway.
VW do a supercharger/turbo charger if you wanted to go that route but twin scroll would be the better all rounder (with avcs of course).
