Opinions on this years show?
Myself I think the public days should have been over three days as it was to busy until later on in the afternoon.
Regarding the live action , this was much better than last year(which was crap). The action was almost constant , RR3 exremely funny ,well hosted (who was he).
My only criticism was that during some of the racing especially the rally cars which most people had gone to see the music drowed out the sound of these superb machines.
Chip.

I agree with Chip, The show should be over more days for the general public. This was the first time I'd been on a public day, as I'm usually there on the press day, and it was too busy for a good look around.
Enjoyed the live show, but would have prefered the sound of the cars rather than music.

Did anybody else see the Lancia S4 in the live show (10:30 showing). What a car, soooo fast, until the combination of a driver going for it and a slippery surface caused an unscheduled meeting with the concrete side wall. Oops. Nicely re-arranged rear end. Just like in the old days of GroupB (suppose the car expects it). Good show though, finally got to see a Stratos (mmmmm nice).

Yeah' Delta really was going for it . Went into paddock after the show and nobody seemed to know what had happened to it . As it didnt reappear later on I can only assume that the engine was damaged as well.

Yeah, quite a mess - you could feel the sadness in the audience ! My father in law knows Steve Smith who owns Walkers garage, I'm assuming that it'll have to go either there or one of the other specialists to get fixed (he prepped an S4 for some bloke in Greece (400bhp from turbo / supercharger) to use as hiw normal road car. Wonder if the Marshall was ok
