Hi

Just after some information, MY93 wrx failed mot on leaky emissions exhaust knackered. I'm looking for replacement back box x middle section I have found both on auction site. But it has no cat middle section is straight through, would this pass mot I have pic if needed

the only cat that i know of in an early import is in the downpipe from the back of the turbo to the centre pipe. An original centre pipe will just contain silencer or two & then your back box. Only thing a centre pipe will do if it is a straight through will give you more exhaust noise. Again depends on back box for the level of noise etc.

as long as the emissions out of the tailpipe are ok & you have a new centre pipe & back box & fitted with no leaks you should be fine
