Default overfueling help needed

hi guys from the start

my car was smoking and i automatically thought it was oil,
it used some oil and has now stop using oil and is staying at full
also i have changed the turbo so i know its not that
changed the maf sensor and compression is at 185

after driving it for a couple of days i have noticed that the fuel consumption is terrible 10mpg at best

also its giving off very loud pops and bangs on every gear change and emitting quite a bit of smoke

what else can i check ? getting deperate now

thanks
alex

Hard to diagnose without getting the car in to a garage. It could be a number of things as mentioned above. It's not a good idea to drive it while it's wildy overfuelling as you may cause bore wash and wreck the engine.

That could WELL be your problem, they are known to cause problems on Imprezas.

Go back to a standard recirc type and see what effect you get.
