I've searched high and low on the BB, but not seen exactly what I think I need.

I want to know what my Scooby can do; not so I can replicate it on the road, but to give me a better feel or insight into the limitations of both me and the car.

So, I'm looking for a session that is tarmac based (the wider the circuit the better!), includes wet road handling; expert tuition; within reasonable travelling distance of East Yorkshire. And I want to do it all in someone else's turbo, not mine!

The Essex police thing looks pretty good, but it's a) hard to get on it; b) just too damn far away.

I keep seeing threads that include some of these things, but they all have other elements that don't really appeal. And that seems true of the driving/rally courses advertised in newspapers and magazine.

Between you, you've got huge amounts of experience - know anything that will satisfy my hunger for what is essentially re-learning how to to drive in a safe environment in a powerful motor?

Thanks

Hi David

See the current topic on Don Palmers Wet Handling Day. You have to use your own car, but I assure you, you will not find a better course to acheive what you want to acheive.

Ask literally anybody who has attended.

Cheers

Simon

read my topic david, it is ideal for you, dont worry about using your own car, it is a very safe environment and you are in total control as to how far you push it.

I have done a few rally courses, one of my friends is a top national rally driver and teaches on some of them.

non of them come close to what you will learn with don, it realy is that good.
