Default REAR WINDOW - PUT THROUGH B*STAR0S

Hi ppl

Just jumped in the car to go to the gym shut the door and the back window has just fallen out (in bits)!!!

I go to the back of the car to see whats happened and right in the bottom right hand corner of the window you can see where either someone or something (possibly) has hit the window. It shattered into pieces so I have just spent the last hour cleaning it up and putting some sheeting over the back window.

Now the question is if im fully comp ins will it be covered ? or do you recon it would be just as easy to find and buy a bugeye wagon boot and take the window out of it ?

Rich

Check your policy if it's windscreen cover or glass cover, if it's windscreen cover they probably mark your policy with a claim. if it's glass you'll be fine. you can do it yourself with sikerflex / tigerseal or pay a glass man around £80ish for him to supply and fit a 2nd hand glass. It's not a hard job and it's not got any safety implications like the structural support of a windscreen
