Default Lowering advice on parts, springs please.

Hello, I am a new Subaru owner, I have an 51 plate bug eye, I think it is referred as.

The front is a bit to high, it's sat on STi 18's which are nice but because of the higer front arch line it needs dropping a little.

30mm I am guessing.

I am after buying advice on some lowering springs for the front as I don't want to stiffen it up as the ride is nice as it is.

Thanks for any input.

Kev.

if you lower it you will need to stiffen it to allow for suspension travel

get some eibach springs mate. Most lowering springs according to build quality will make the ride harder. A decent set shouldn't affect ride quality too much

Wouldnt you need to do the back aswell. I would have thought the car would feel very unbalanced if you only changed the front. I'm sure someone will correct me if Im talking out of my ***.

Also make sure not to over lower as it will screw the handling(so I'm told). Go for a set of Eibach Pro's.

Thanks for the replies.

The back sits well, just the front imo is a little high for the look af the car.

Do all 4 springs look the same ie colour?

Mines lowered on tein springs and yours looks as low on the rear as mine does, looks as though it's been lowered on the back and not the front.

Mine is only a base spec GX model, all springs I find listed for lowering are for STi/WRX etc

Would these also lower my GX to same desired hight?

Thanks.

I've just had a chat by phone with a lad whos breaking one on here and he believes his will fit this.

Hopefully have a set of TEIN springs for it in the next week or so.

Thanks for advice.
