went shops 1 mile from home, pulled up and car started making noise, pulled over noticed burning rubber smell,,

driver side suspenison strut base were spring sits just collapsed like a grannys ****, have drive home tyre rubbing on strut,

Does anyone know were i can get a single strut from cheapish

Oh ye 02 sti bugeye , (the model were the struts cost £425 new from dealers)

You'll end up buggering the other up if you just change one as the wear will be different on each side. But I have an idea you'll just change the one anyway so good luck.
