hi guys ,im new to all this .i need some help.i have a 1998 subaru impreza terzo 3 limited edition.2 lit.3 faults 1-when i start it up it smokes for about 2 -3 seconds.2-while driving i loose power and it starts to kangaroo.3-ive noticed its been spitting oil out of the dump valve.are all these related problems or seperate ones.any help would be great.thanks.

get it compression tested and clean your maf plus check your plugs. if you still not having any luck if you near stoke just pop in

hi guys.need some help again.im trying to find the model number for my 1998 subaru imprza terzo.iv found a number which is EJ20,but when iv gone to order some parts the number EJ20 has a letter after it.how do i know if mine will have a letter after it and where will i find it.help

Have a look on the VIN plate inside the engine bay, on the left hand wing near the strut I think if my memory is right. The EJ20 code should be on there. This is the engine code itself - there will also be a chassis code as well.

The chassis code will probably start GC8 and the engine code is likely to be EJ20G or something but can't be sure...

hi guys its been a while,need some help.iv got a terzo 3 .its developed a slight knock.will i need to get it re-built sooner or later,and can i still drive it.the scooby drives fine at the mo.all so where would be the best place to get it sorted.cheers.
