I noticed the queues on my way home - it would be crying shame if I had no petrol to get to work

People are out panic buying. The amount of people I saw yesterday filling up jerry cans was a joke.

Just had preferential treatment at tesco petrol station in mold because I was in my scooby . No waiting in the massive queue for me :-) n filled her up with tesco finest :-) no bother
A bloke was speaking to people and directing them to pumps that had stuff in and most were all in a big queue for unleded afew in derv . And soon as I said I needed momentum he directed me to a clear pump all to myself no waiting whoop whoop :-)

The government must be laughing at this. Despite everyone pleading with the government about fuel duty and high prices their still willing to panic buy at the first opportunity.

Panic buyers are a joke tbh

I've only got a quarter tank left and all three Shells near me are out of V-Power!

Hope they get delivery soon!

This really gets my back up.. All the t**sers that probably do 30 miles a month at 15 mph, rushing out and filling up their cars, sheds and bath tubs with bloody fuel, I have 1/4 tank in the Scoob, and Im on the red in my mk1 fiesta (both useless on fuel), but I cant get any fuel because it's all sat in Hyundai Amica/Nissan Micra fuel tanks on retirement bungalow driveways!

I don't mind walking to work, as it is only ten minutes away, but I have to travel a fair few miles daily to the stables, which isnt walking distance by anyones standards.. Looks like Im gonna struggle then..

Government/Panic buyers = Thick w***ers.

I'd bet good money that if there was an announcement tomorrow claiming that there is going to be a shortage of Sausage rolls, then the thick ******* of this country would rush out, and buy more sausage rolls than you can fit in a transit van, because they might struggle to get them in 2 bloody weeks!

This out of touch government will view this panic buying as not only can we afford to fill our tanks, we can also afford to fill several jerry cans at the same time.
What needed to happen was ,no panic buy and when the tanker drivers do strike we let the country grind to a halt. That would have sent the right message to the government.
But no, this country is populated by greed and selfishness and for that we will all be punished. Expect many more fuel price rises in the near future !

Was that the normal price where you got it or did they jack up the price to cash in?
