Need some help here guys if you can. My 96 sti is experiencing some surging problems in all gears from 3500 rpm upward. Feel it more when lower revs but higher speeds. Really noticable in 5th and feels like a too and fro feeling. Car has Simtek ECU recently mapped by Bob Rawle running 1.4 bar on std turbo. Also had yellow injectors fitted from a phase 2 just prior to mapping(ultrasonic cleaned). I also get a jerk back from time to time at 4000 rpm and the other day i had for the first time what sounded like a firework display come out of the rear end when changing from 5th at 80 mph quickly down to 4th and trying to accelerate. It just let off loads of quick succession bangs out the back end with flames b,b,b,b,b, boom. Car runs full Blitz exh inc de-cat, sumo power filter, FSE reg, Walbro pump and a turbo smart dump valve. New coil packs fitted 2 months ago along with NGK PFR7's.
