PFF7's
Side Skirts
Interior STi door Handles
STi Pedals
STi Boot Lid Hinge/Springs

Long long story
I was conned a while back, and am sure if the boot was on other foot, you probably feel the same towards him as I do.

Do tell all. It's pointless announcing a "scam" with no information when all the replies state people have been happy with his service. Always two sides to every story, i learnt that a wail back... Sorry, while.

Well without any more information this thread is pure conjecture, defamatory and borderline libel. I'd suggest asking a mod to remove it as a thread which simply states someone is a scam merchant with no other information other than plenty of people stating they've had transactions go well, could be an issue. Nothing against you personally mate, i've been ripped off myself and know how it feels, just my personal opinion.

Re-built my car using alot of parts of Paul. And I've never had an issue with him. If anything he is very helpful and will go the extra mile.

Tried to tell me he never had a 2002 but his face book said different.
As I've said went with a pal and the both of us was on about how cheap I had got the 2002 shell with what was on it,
Basically he got mixed up sold the 2002 before mine was delivered could of been a genuine mistake, the doubt was put in my head when one min he say he never broke a 2002 and the next it was broke after I had bought mine. He offered the 2000 shell I have now 200 quid cheaper but didn't want any rust so went for the 2002.
did you collect it or was it delivered, why have you not returned it and if return not accepted then taken legal action through the small claims court. what did your bill of sale state on it ?

not to knock you mate but i have a suspision that the answers to my questions are not going to look good.

I also have my suspicions and they certainly don't concern Slab. I have dealt with Slab and found him to be an honest fellow Yorkshireman, a man of his word and a pleasure to deal with. Never dealt with this PMB bloke and never will.

I followed your thread as you put it up at the time I was starting to discuss the exhaust so I did tread carefully, but he came good. However, if I was in your boat I would have looked at taking it to the small claims court - my limited understanding of the system is that it usually errs on the side of the weaker party which is generally the consumer

The Reason SLAB didnt get a refund or any help by my company PMB, is because he waited 5 months to make a complaint after the shell was delivered, It was a bare bugeye shell with an identity! theres no warrantee on a 10 year old spares or repairs shell. He accepted it when it was delivered with no question, what you see is what you get and he was happy with it. As for the parts missing: the rear diffs are always removed as they are part of the 6 speed gearbox kit and their worth nearly as much as he paid for the shell and ID, the shocks again are always removed as their sold seperately and it was a 10 year old plus shell, offcourse its likely to have had a small amount of paintwork at some point in its life but honestly if it took 5 months for the buyer to find a tiny bit of overspray inside one of the arches, then it must have been a damn good paintjob as we didnt notice it at all.

We looked after him with lots of other spare parts that he required as you can see from his list, we also included free postage on everything else he wanted and discounted him as a regular buyer, he kept coming back over and over again for parts with no issues and he got lots of interior plastic parts and extra little bits he needed for free as he was building up his project, (as STEKO stated, we look after local people and regular customers!)

The fact the shell had a rear wiper, intercooler spray pipework under the bonnet and not in the boot and a JDM chassis number might have given away it was a JDM Import, which is the shell SLAB chose in my workshop as it was the only one still with all 4 doors. which is why it was more than the others. (4 doors at £50 a door = £200 price difference)

I did have 2002 STi pictures on my facebook, I still do! I just dont have SLAB as a friend so he cant see them, they havent disappeared at all. We've broken / repaired / sold many 2002 STi's over the last 5+ years but thats not the shell SLAB requested.

SLAB then told me if i didnt paypal him a £200 refund he'd attempt to ruin the companies good reputation. which obviously hes still trying to do. we wont cave in to any form of blackmail.

This will be my only reply to this thread as frankly, I dont need to explain myself any more and dont want to get into an argument again over this.

We pride ourselves on good customer service and helping customers any way we can even if thats talking a customer through fitting an item theyve bought from us or just general advice about their car, were more than happy to help.

Our returns policy is very clear and fair, not only to the customer but to us aswell. You cant contact us 5 months after buying an item from us and expect us to bend over backwards to solve an issue when we havent warrantee'd an item.

BugeyeJohn: you bought off my personal ebay account that must have been a long time ago just as we was starting and wasnt quite as clued up as we are these days. Is there anything you need at the moment? I'd like to offer you 10% off your next purchase with us. I hope that makes up for you being out of pocket with us in the past. We'll send you detailed pictures of any items you request so you know exactly what your purchasing before its sent too.

Well,as has been hinted at,there are two sides to every story and in fairness,PMB has fought his corner very succinctly.
Despite best efforts, you cant please all of the people all of the time, but fair play to PMB for trying...
