I`m after a quality laser and radar detector. Suggestions?

If it is a detector you are after then the 2 which come out best in the tests are Beltronics 900 series, and the Valentine. I have a Bel 990 and have no complaints.

If it is just Gatsos you are worried about then a Morpheus is probably the best bet, no false warnings, etc.

The Morpheous does indeed do a pretty good job on the Gatso front and it even works from within the center dash storage bin!

Just waiting for the SatNav software now.....

I don't know whether it is worth spending the money one either the Bel or Morpheous systems as they may be made illegal soon. Check out:

If you read the proposed changes then they are drafted so generally that if your mate sent you an SMS message to tell you where a speed camera was, then your mobile phone is a detection device and therefore illegal!!!

Anyway, the Morpheous is an 'accident black spot' warning system. Well, they only put the cameras at blackspots don't they, I mean they're not for generating revenue or anything....
