Hi.

I've been offered and WR1 ecu for my 54plate blob eye STI, the guy says that I need some kind of boost solenoid and the ecu programmed to my key/car.

Can anyone confirm this is correct or if it can be done ?? Or even if it's worthwhile.....

Its cheaper getting your ecu remapped and adding a 3 port boost solenoid

Ok thanks, I've been Offered it for nothing off of a friends dad so thought I'd look into it. Any reccomendation for tuners in the area, I see your from slough so not that far away from me.

As above remap and 3 port boost solenoid will be cheaper than getting the WR1 ECU.
Remap option you have few like Neil@Slowboy Racing,Duncan@Race Dynamix and Simon@JGM
