Don't want to upset anyone here, but i have used the same ford
mechanic for 20 years with my RS's and he's a top bloke. He does
not just work on fords,he works on all makes of cars and has been
the only guy i have ever trusted with my cars. How would it look if
my service history continued with the ford stamp in there.Bearing
in mind the car is now 6 tears old.I don't want no young
wipper snapper trying my car out on his dinner break .

If you trust him, and are happy with him, plus as long as he know's what he's upto with a scoob, then no problem
Doesnt make any difference about having a ford stamp in the book as long as the works done properly and your happy with it

The stamp will make a difference at selling time to some buyers and maybe not others. A stamp in the book is better than no stamp in the book.

Stick with someone who knows these cars, they can be fickle little buggers to work on, it doesnt mean to say your mechanic isnt any good, but I personally would only go with an expert on these engines (hence why I only use one place ) and it's fairly close to you
