Take these broken wings..
Nice little present left for me after I had to leave the car parked up on the pavement Saturday night. Left plenty of room on the road, made absolutely sure of it. I always park on the drive but I didn't have a choice this time.. not even a busy road.
Won't be making that mistake again.
Yeah, I'll admit, it's pretty filthy but in my defence I only cleaned it two days before that I drive in muddy places.
Fashionably they didn't leave any details and whatever hit it was big..
Feel my pain, Scooby friends .

I'm guessing you were facing the oncoming traffic, (passenger side exposed to the road) so either someone swerved on to your side of the road ( going by the angle of the dent) or someone has def backed into it??
Neighbours drive opposite or anything like that?

What sort of **** does that and does not leave their details.
I had my van parked near a building site a few weeks ago, went back to get some tools and the front was caved in. Bonnet, both wings, lights, grill etc etc. No note left or anybody there.
There was a large lorry parked nearby and when I confronted him (I wasn't very polite) he admitted that he might of backed into it but didn't realize. The damage however would suggest differently.

I had something similar with an old MK3 Golf GTi. Came back to the car to find the wing mirror hanging off and the side trim on the floor with a lovely scrape down the whole length of the car. As per usual no details were left so I feel you pain but at least mine was just a cheapo old golf.

knobjockey, poeple need to learn man up and grow some bollocks and admit when they have clipped something.
Luckily damage doesn't look to bad, wing and front bumper touch up.
Get some repair quotes before you go down the insurance route, i seriously doubt it will be worth the claim

Not gonna polish that out I am afraid but on the brighter side is there any CC TV around there.
This happened to a friend of mine, they caught the guy on CC TV, took it to the police and nabbed the bloke, the net result was not only his insurance company coughing up but 6 points and a hefty fine.
Might be worth an ask around the local stores for CCTV footage or indeed the council.
Good luck.

i had an old man reverse his car into mine while i was parked up and engine off. he had around 8 feet space and just kept backing up and backing up then bang!!
when i got out to kick his old fragile **** in, he proclaimed that he wasnt moving and i had driven into him!!!
after i pointed out all the cameras watching he quickly changed his tune and try to had me a £20 note to cover the cracked bumper lol - some people!

Well.. you guys ain't gonna believe this..
Today, Tuesday. Driving home for lunch from work.. there's quite a narrow lane which I was pootling along rather slowly (I take this road to work every day and I know some people go like maniacs down there) .. a guy in an estate comes hurtling round the corner, swerves to try and miss me and scrapes down the side of my car.
So now, I have a scrape down the rear bumper and rear driver side door and a destroyed wing. Best part? Because no one saw it, he will not take responsibility. We have to go through insurance and I know they're going to say it's 50/50. I'm 20 years old, saving up for my turbo Scoob this summer.. but now with no no claims.. that dreams down the pan. I'm looking at 1 litre Corsa ownership. Great.
I'm a careful driver who looks after his Scoob like a baby.. why do other people have to try and ruin the fun? 3 days after someone smashed the wing.
It's not a good week.
Thanks for the messages of support though. Don't think I'll be able to afford the insurance without no claims.
