subaru brake back plates

Hi i am fitting big brembos discs to the rear of my 1995 wrx, but the back plate is too small, does anyone know where i can get bigger back plates so the disc can fit inside.

Just drill or grind through the spot welds and take off the stone guard , that's what we always do

Ian, silly question but what is the point of the stone guard? Does it actually limit damage to the disc when driving?

No, it traps stones between it and the disc, causing heart-stopping moments in the car when it squeals like fifteen stuck pigs

As do the fronts

Remove it and repaint the mounting with smooth Hammerite black

on the plus side , it keeps the weather and road muck out , but downside they keep heat in
