Default '02 Bugeye in need of a clutch - help

Hi all, i am the proud new owner of an 02 reg bugeye wagon
I have had it for about 2 weeks now and the clutch seems to be slipping when the car gets to around 4000 rpm then stops slipping around 5000 rpm.
Im figuring it needs a clutch...... so my question is this....

A Clutch on a budget ....... anyone know a good guy thats cheap :0)

i have only just got the car through an mot and fitted a new 3" complete exhaust with decat so money is tight .....

any help would be welcomed

no mate that aint a normal price to have a clutch fitted that was probely them buying the clutch so get your own clutch and most garages charge say £200 max to fit so £400 tops with the clutch.

No need to shout mate, Caps lock off

There are loads of specialist clutch centres that are very cheap, i had a rover done for £130 a few months back, and i'm in notts too.

Try YEL.com. as by the time you have driven for 2 1/2 hours thats another £100 in fuel there and back.
