New Subaru Owner
Hello everyone,
Proud to say im a new owner of a subaru classic.
Pictures to come up as soon as i give it a nice clean and its no -2!!
Immidaitly i want to get some cosmetic work done, new front bumper and some mechinical work.
Ive been trying to educate my self, god there are some many similar parts with a different name im still getting confused.
Bit about the car, its Black Classic, with a forged engine, fmic, td05 16g turbo, 440 injectors, apexi . TY754 gear box with 4.444 diff, exedy pink box clutch.
Running around 340 BHP atm ive been told.
The first thing i want to do with the car mechanically is get it to 400 BHP. after some research ive figured the box clutch and engine is good for this.
Ive also researched that I would need to upgrade the Injectors, and the Turbo with a re-map.
The only thing that i havent been able to decide on is which turbo to go for?
and which size injectors would be ideal for this task?
would appreciate all the help i can get!

Mate, there are loads of different mods and turbos. Suggest you drive the car as is a bit to check that everything is ok before you mod.
Have a look here http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/index2.html plenty of info and a respected mapper. especially about turbo chargers.

Thanks for that beastie.
I really need to change the front bumper on my car it's some aftermarket ATM and looks naf.
My car is a 95 wrx, could anyone tell me if the bumpers of the newer classics are interchangeable ? If not what kind of wrk is required?

Welcome to scoobynet bud, WE NEED PICTURES!!!
Yeah the newer bumpers off the later classics are interchangeable, Same as the bonnet, grille, lights etc.
Have a good look round the project threads for ideas on uprating. .once the car has a clean bill of health and all okay.
I have a 230 white pre facelift bumper and splitter if your interested bud. There is a massive cost difference between 350 bhp and 400. . Gearbox's (350 is pretty much the top end of its capability depending on the torque, clutch's, servicing etc go's up massively

Welcome
To start with, 400bhp, you will need a new gearbox, and maybe a new clutch (think those pink ones are rated to 350lbs of torque?).
Then we will ask you who did the forged rebuild and what is inside?
There is no point trying for 400bhp if they just put in crap parts, you need to see what has been listed/fitted and by whom.
You have not said what model or year car yours is? And are the brakes standard or do you have an uprated (good) brake setup?
