Default WELL PI$$ED OFF

Used the scoob at 20.30 last night to pick my daughter up,
come home parked up, locked up thought nothing about it.

Come out to take kids to school this morning, frozen solid as usual this last week or so.
Fire her up, grab scraper from passenger footwell, walk round front and find front windscreen deliberately smashed on both sides, and half a brick sat on the scuttle panel at the bottom of the screen

What is is with ****in idiot scumbags ?

I'm normally exactly the same, any sound have a look, plus the rottie barks at the slightest noise and next doors dog usually goes off too.
But last night, nothing, not a sound.
Whoever the *** hole was must have done it fairly quickly after i parked up, as the ice on the screen was un-damaged, it was only when i started to clear it, then thought, what the ****'s this.

Found it at 07.45 this morning, and still not calmed down.
as title WELL PI$$ed

Sounds like a revenge thing to me, are you sure you didn't carve some gimp up on the way home?

I've come out from the shops a couple of times to find someone has spat on my car. It pissed me off the first time but then i thought, oh well gob washes off ,scratches don't. I feel for you mate but at least most insurance policy's cover that without losing your ncb. Better the windscreen than the roof.

No roads were really quiet, in fact cant remember another vehicle.
I did last week have to hold a disciplinary hearing at work though, and had been thinking it may have been that tosser, i didnt have anything to do with the reasons he was being disciplined, i just had to hold the meeting as i wasnt involved and therefor impartial.

Got 3 brand new HD cctv cameras up today now, so lets see if they/he comes back, screen wont be replaced till tomorrow

When you get the screen done, go back into work, DON'T MENTION THE CAMERAS, tell all and sundry what happened, what a t0sspot the perp is and you have got it all fixed, he wont be ballsy enough to come back, then sit back and wait. If it is the scoundrel at work, he wont be able to take all the insults and bingo, Beadle is paying you £200 for your video.

Yep sneaky buggers insurance companies, that will be the cost of the glass and fitting trade price.

I got one off a mate in the trade for £100 for my isuzu, and he told me he was making £40, which i thought was fair enough, and he got a free bacon sarni and a cuppa when he fitted it.

I had to pay £75 for a new screen. im with Aviva. Use to be free. I must say though, the Young lad from Autoglass did a top rate job. Even put protectors in the car so his equipment would not mark my headlining.

It was Gavins "special resin" that failed resulting in a new windscreen being needed

Are you sure that's the right thing to do? Personally I'd want him to know there's CCTV covering the car rather than encourage him back to do more damage just to capture it on camera.

For starters if he does the windscreen that's another £80, then you've got the hassle of involving the police, hoping they prosecute etc. (assuming you go the legal route).

I.m in sealand, deeside, welsh end of sealand road.

Gonna keep quiet about the cameras, tbh i rang the police just to get a crime reference number, just incase the insurance needed one.

Wont be going down the legal route, just need to catch who it was, i have my own methods for dealing with scum

Still waiting for auto windscreens to turn up, phoned me at 0800 said he would be here by 09.30 at the latest, well it's 10.20 now

Well that was traumatic to say the least.
Bloke turned up at 10.30, 1 hour late, but fair enough he turned up.
Got all his masking tape out, covered everything up, so i thought, fair play we have a pro here!
Then took him from 10.40 until 1200 just to get the old one out!
He had a chuffin nightmare, whoever put the last one in really went to town with the glue!
The screen finally came out in about 400 pieces

Fitted the new one, but the top trim ( a new one) was crap, he asked if i was happy, i gave a sarcastic look, so we decided to re-fit the old one.

Looks much better now, the old trim fits spot-on.

He also left me a full complete bag of clips for attaching the roof rail/trims, so if anyone is after some give me a shout
