Hey All,

Just bought my first Scooby - a 2006 WRX, but have a quick question.

It has a straight through exhaust - no CAT - and according to the dealer, this is the cause of the engine mgmt light coming on. They are going to disable the cat sensor to stop this.

Does this sound Kosher?

Thanks in advance for your input!

make sure it has been mapped if the cat has been removed or this could lead to engine problems in the future.
