I am looking to buy a p1 splitter for my prefacelift and have found one made from grp, is this good/light? What should I be looking for?

I have done and it's double the price of the one I found. Just not sure on the material, if it's heavy fibre glass or plastic.

HT autos are Fibre Glass moulded plastic . Does that sound right ? Is it called FRP ?
I got mine , it was black plasticy face , but you can see the glass fibres on the back. Any imperfections in the mold were pre-filled with Isopon type filler. Very lightweight (not necessarly a good thing with front splitter)

GRP = Glass reinforced polyester. ie Glassfibre.... usually if you dink it against a kerb that will be the end of it LOL
That's my take on GRP but may be wrong .

I bought the HT one. If you scartch it, (and I have
), it shows balck. Not so bad.
Fibreglass ones show white.....not good.
The HT one is injected PU. Worth the extra, IMHO.

I also bought an HT autos splitter and their tough. I'm always grinding mine so a carbon or grp one would not last long.
