Can you fit a decat without a remap to a uk turbo 2000

Not advisable, it's likely to throw a CEL light.

U would probably get away with the centre cat removed but not a full decat, that will need mapping to keep it from overboosting.

Centre cat removed on my classic, no re-map and no issues. Been like it for over a year with me, and I think 2 years with the previous owner.

alot of people do a full decat on a uk turbo theres some one on here been running a full decat for years with out a remap.just get a knock link if you do just to check everything is running ok or rolling road

MY99/00 Ecu can adjust a fair amount compared to earlier ecus.

Question is, why would you de-cat it and not get it mapped, you're likely to LOSE power rather than gain anything until its mapped.

Its one of those things, it could run fine for ages, or it could run lean and blow up. Safest bet is to map it, the gamble is to leave it.
