Default Steering wheel boss

Hey all,

I have just bought a new wheel and snap off hub, I now need a boss for the hub to connect to.

I have a V5 STI Type-r '99 and have searched throught the threads but to no avail, I really need this sorting asap as car crime round here is rife at the moment.

Mine is the airbag model, I am not fussd about the airbag light being on, just want it to fit!!!

PLEASE! Help me as all the ones I have seen listed are 'none-airbag' models... will these still fit?!...

Thanks

Check that out. Has details of a good facelift classic boss which cancels airbag warning light and keeps the indicators working.

A boss and detectable hub, wont leave loads of room with the wheel sticking out so far. My preference would be to forget the removable part.

Nice one!

I couldn't agree more about the way this combination makes the wheel stick out but as a result of a few local scares on the crime front I just want to know for sure!

As soon as I have secure parking on a night I can always swap back.

Thanks for the link, that wheel he uses is fit, see what HKB are saying then I recon...nice one
