Default What the hells goin on on ebay ?

I have a set of WRX wheels in satin black with 4 x brand spankin new tyres mid range ones the tyres alone just cost me 300 quid last week and ends very shortly and no one has bid even 100 pounds for them what the hells goin on ?

I have a bugeye shape impreza 47k immaculate new mot and 4 months tax did not make 1600 quid, i also have it on autotrader for 1995 for 4 weeks and not a single call are people not wanting these anymore ? i spent ages and an arm and a leg getting these wheels travelling far paying over the odds with blad tyres just to get a new set now i cannot seem to sell anything subaru whats going on ? any ideas?

Terrible time of year to be selling anything buddy , sit tight !!
Most folk are just getting bak on they're feet after the festive season 1st pay could be classed as the settler ie no fancy purchases etc just to get back on track , bet ya have more luck Feb/March time

From what I've been watching the bug would make more money breaking and the wheels I'd be suprised if they made much more the 100 I'm afraid There are that many deals out there for aftermarket wheels most people go that route. Good luck

yeah its what i thought but you would expect the amount of time it took me to find a set you'd think they would make a bit even someone after a cheaper set of brand new 17 inch tyres i would take an offer and you get a set of wheels to put back on the bay but never mind probably worth holding on to and advertising for more in a month or two just hate having another expensive car just eroding on my drive away i have 2 others now and its surplus lol

but what also makes me laugh i cant buy stuff cheap, i also have a mk1 escort i am trying to find bits for aswell as my classic project and mk1 esc bits twin 40's 400 quid no less, quarter bumpers 150 quid thought it would be a buyers market now !

no cars are selling at the moment i advertised my ford focus for 6 months and ended up trading it in as no interest 2 year ago it would have sold in a week

dont think it will ever be a buyers market for classic car spares brought stuff for escorts 20 years ago they were expensive then. miss the sound of a pair of 40,s

that'll be mk1/mk2 escort tax mate.. bits for those cars are always pircey because they're in so much demmand for historic motorspot events.

when i had my mk2 everythign on it cost me an arm and a leg!

This probably wont make you feel better but i advertised my previous car on pistonheads at £4995 at 8am, by 10am it had sold for the full asking price (which was a little ott too as i presumed people would haggle). Same with another car i had a year ago, on pistonheads. I've never had any joy at all with Autotrader or eBay to be honest, or any other selling platform.
