As i sold my bonnet for a lightweight alloy one i also sold the washer jets and pipework so im looking into these has anyone purchased them and used them they must be better than standered as the water is directed straight onto the screen along the length of the blade .

Your thoughts please

At first glance, it would seem like a complete no brainer: why not?

But some things to think about:

1. Can you replace the baldes when they become due without clarting about too much, and aslo paying extra for un-needed gubbins?

2. Will the supplied pipework be ok for repeated backwards and forwards bending that it will be certain to get when fitted? Or any rubbing?

3. Is there clearance to FIT the pipework etc? ie: from where it has to emerge from under the bonnet?

Others may come up with different things, but those were the ones that sprang to mind.

In a word, WHY?

Take a look at the left hand side of your screen where the wipers leave an arc. Do you want that on BOTH sides? On the M1 in filthy conditions?

Replaced my standard washer jets with some misting Peugeot/Citroen ones. Direct fit, far better cleaning than the OEM kit. Washer fluid doesn't last nearly as long though

350z's have them on as standard and work great. I don't really see a down point to them.
Plus you can get rid of the washer jets on the bonnet.

Have the PIAA wipers on mine and cant fault them at all! Hardly need the wipers at speed, the rain just runs off!

I have done the same mod. They fire a bit low and you cant adjust them but still way better than the originals.

Exactly. From underneath the bonnet squeeze the clips together and push the washer out.

Takes minutes.

Fill them in, it would smarten up the bonnet.

Had a look at Duncan's race car while down at RCM and he has just removed the left wiper showed me it working and works fine mate !

Ok, I am just weighing up how to improve them over standard and wondered did you get any better washers or the blades you originally linked to
