Default Front & Tail Lights will not switch off! Bugeye 2002

Hello. I just parked up and switched off the ignition but tail lights and front lights will not switch off! (it is not the main lights - possibly parking lights).

I spent 20mins looking for the problem, whether i had mistakingly pressed a switch iv never pressed before. Couldnt locate the fuse box either! Anyways the lack of light and the cold has forced me inside. I have disconnected the battery and will look at this in the morning.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Could be the switch in front of the dials, above the steering column?!

You can use it in two ways :-
the first is to switch your lights on
the second is to switch your lights off

unless --- they are already on! --then the purpose of the switch is reversed !!

Don't worry ---- EVERYBODY on here has done the same thing at some-time, and this question is asked about once a month...............

joking aside ---- it is so u can leave your parking lights on if u are in a badly light road or near a bend etc etc

on my car (classic), when u turn the ignition off, the lights go off as well (even if the main switch is in the on position...) - hence the ability to turn to parking lights on if u wish
