I'd like a better explanation that "it'll be another couple of weeks" 
Have they even been shipped from Japan yet? Are they stuck in customs? on a container ship somewhere?
Bermuda Triangle perhaps, or maybe the Lost City of Atlantis loading bay ?????

Not spoke to him yet.
Last I heard they were still on a ship somewhere....
Maybe it sank? Loads of well braced fish swimming about
Will post when I get a chance to speak to him, lets not hang him out to dry though, delays are usualy not the fault of the supplier.

I can't remember the explanation given, but basically the upshot was that he was expecting them in a couple of weeks, but offered to keep me informed as of when he expected them to arrive.
Having said that, time scale has now passed but been too busy to give him a call.
I think Paul's right though in that we shouldn't hang him out to dry until we know more about the situation.

Christian, Enjoy the Bank Holiday and worry about this next week. It's not as though your car is unuseable without the braces.

Right, I have spoken with the supplier.
He is on the case as is asking that you please bear with him, he is having trouble getting information out of our japanese friends (something to do with them all having a 2 week break, i dunno).....
I have the email addresses of everyone involved, I will mail you all when I have some further information. Please don't chase me up, I have no more information than is stated above.......
I feel silly having to post when I have no further information, be patient lads, it will be worth it in the end.....
