Default Knocking and squeaking?

Evening all not posted in a while so hi. I recently had my discs and pads changed (standard) by a friend of a friend on my classic turbo 2000, and recently there seems to be a constant loud knocking and squeaking noise coming from my front passenger wheel which seems to be louder when I turn the wheel to the right any ideas on what could be the problem. All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The hubs have a metal protector on the inner side of your disks. Mine use to touch the disk and squeak like mad. Take the wheel off and have a look.

I'm even more confused now is it a shock or something more simple? Anyone else got any thoughts as to what may be wrong with my car?

Get the wheel off and have a look, diagnosing a generic squeek from in that area without seeing the car is almost impossible.
Both the above answers could be the problem but you need to have a look...
